Jennifer is my name. You may call me Jen, Jenna, or Jenny (just please do not crack any Forrest Gump jokes). I am a nearly-24-year-old woman that happily resides in the state of Oregon (the one area in the state that does not have much rain). I am a loving wife, daughter, and sister in law. I am a faery, a hippie, a silent spirit. I am an amateur guitarist, a poet, an artist. I strive to live a simple life free from the country's incessant need for wealth, control, and material possessions, sharing life with my husband, our family, pets, and our plants.

I write quite a few "Friends Only" entries and am a bit reluctant to add new friends that I do not know. Feel free to add me if you would like, but please do not be offended if I do not add you back. It is nothing personal. While I may be open about my opinions, I tend to keep my life itself rather private.

My husband and I have been together over three years, finally marrying on August 13th, 2005. His name is Jonathan, and he has truly become the center of my world...of my universe. I feel such a strong connection and love for this man. He is my husband, my lover, my confidante, my support system, my best friend.

I have three best girlfriends - my best friend (and sister) of 16 years, Suzanne, my kindred spirit, Helen, and my sister (in law), Stephanie. These women inspire me, have touched me, and mean the world to me. I was blessed and honored to have all three of these beautiful, strong women by my side at my wedding.

I am very liberal, anti-Bush, an animal rights, human rights, women's rights, and gay rights activist. I live by a path of Paganism and Buddhism. I celebrate Christmas, as I believe in the existence of Jesus Christ and I believe that he was a prophet and healer; a life that should be celebrated. However, I firmly believe that it is one's merit that determines their path in life, not one's religious beliefs.

Journaling, graphic design, web design, writing, sketching, reading, listening to music, scrapbooking, taking care of our plants and pets, chatting online with my best friends, relaxing on the couch with my husband, watching movies and our favorite TV shows, visiting my parents, being outdoors. My amount of free time varies quite a bit, but I treasure the free time that I do have.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in 2004 (Criminology, with a minor in Psychology). I currently work at a local elementary school, assisting children with reading, writing, and phonics. I hope to someday become a juvenile probation officer. I plan to volunteer as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate for children) very soon as well.
